How Tab publishes health and fitness guides.

Who writes these guides

Tab Editorial Team is the organizational byline for guides researched, written and maintained by Tab. It does not describe a clinician, dietitian, trainer, medical board or credential we do not have. We name the organization so readers can understand who is responsible for the work and contact us about it.

How we source claims

We prefer current primary and authoritative sources: government nutrition databases and guidance, professional position stands, systematic reviews, and peer-reviewed consensus papers. Evidence links appear beside the sections they support, with a complete source list at the end. Product claims are checked against Tab’s current implementation and documented product decisions.

How we write and update

Articles answer the main question early, separate established guidance from practical examples, state uncertainty, and avoid invented statistics, diagnoses, treatment instructions, transformation promises, and false precision. Publication and update dates are visible. We review a guide when material guidance, evidence, or relevant Tab behavior changes rather than silently rewriting the record.

Corrections

If a factual statement, source, or product description is wrong, email hello@igotthetab.com with the page and concern. We investigate against the underlying source, correct confirmed errors promptly, and update the visible date when the change is substantive.

General information, not medical advice

Tab’s guides provide general education for adults. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, or an individualized nutrition or exercise plan. A qualified health professional who knows your history is the appropriate source for guidance involving a condition, medication, pregnancy, injury, symptoms, or eating-disorder history.
